He used to watch a lot of youth football with Arn, back in the day.

Ashley Cole has had the last year of his contract with Roma terminated. The 34-year-old, who signed a two-year deal in Italy last summer after the expiration of his Chelsea contract, made only 11 Serie A appearances last season and has hardly featured in coach Rudi García’s pre-season preparations.

On Friday, Cole, who made 107 England appearances, was not included in the 26-man squad to be presented to fans at the Stadio Olimpico before the match against the Europa league winners Sevilla, and the Italian club confirmed to the Guardian that they had agreed to terminate his contract one year early.
That rug really tied the room together.

Real Madrid have signed Inter Milan midfielder Mateo Kovacic in a surprise €30 million (£21.3m) deal, according to a report in Italy.
The respected Gazzetta dello Sport carries the breaking story on its website, with Kovacic said to be “a Real Madrid midfielder” after a deal was reached.

Wolfsburg are a pretty wealthy club in their own right, so they will not be pushed into selling a player for any price other than what suits them
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

De Bruyne staying is bull, his agent rang round the media telling everyone how angry he was at the position his client was put in, being asked by the host of the beIN awards to repeat after him....'I will be playing at Wolfsberg next season'.

Leicester seem to have bought pretty well this Summer certainly to give them a shot at staying up

Don't think Charlie Austin will be joining West Ham

Bit rich considering they signed Andy Carroll.

Maybe they've learnt their (very expensive) lesson.

I suppose that clears up the reason as to why he hasn't moved this summer then. Although you would think someone would take a gamble at that price.
