        £60 Million being quoted

That is huge money, has looked superb though. Some signing for them if it comes off. That's what a blank cheque book gets you. Champs league footie and Pep also help.

The amount of money that is going to be spent in the premier league this window is going to be truly disgusting.

Not sure how that will work out because City don't play to Auber's strengths.

The amount of money spent by the two manc clubs alone will be obscene. And still everyone will bang on about how great their managers are next season.

Gundogan, Laporte and Auba for what, 120 million
                * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

You imagine they'll be playing a different style under Pep than they have previously.

                  Excellent signing for them

I don't recall Pep ever playing anything other than a progressive style.

Patient passing style, not counter attacking

He tweaked his style at Bayern and moved away from tikki taka, he is all about pace and width now. If they sign Auba I imagine he'd play as a wide forward, similar to the role Douglas Costa did at Bayern.

Nev beat me to it, but you didn't watch Bayern, presumably?
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Only twice, thought they were quite boring

You prob saw the games v Atletico I guess? They just about blitzed everyone else using the same tactic by creating overlaps for their wide-players and getting crosses to Lewa or cut backs to one of their attacking midfielders. They had Costa, Ribery & Coman out wide and this was enough for most games but Robben's injury really cost them v Atletico. As "predictable" as he is (cut inside and shoot on the left) he seems to still be able to do it at will and win games himself.

Atletico's full backs (F Luis & Juanfran) were superb in the two legs and I think Costa was subbed off in both games. Added to that the cover they got from the midfield was insane + they had some amount of luck. All of this negated their tactics and they ended up lumping balls onto the head of Godin & Giminez. Simeone won the tactical battle vs Pep and Bayern didn't really have a plan B to fall back on.
