We wanted Sanchez to replace Suarez and he was the best option for us at the time. He was excellent for Arsenal for a couple of seasons hence why City and United wanted him. He tailed off spectacularly at UnitedOriginally posted by Cormack74 View PostSo Mikataryan (sp) is following Sanchez down the road and back out of the PL, both having bombed spectacularly at two high profile (English) clubs.
And to think we were interested in the pair of them *shudder*.
We wanted MickyRyan when he left Shakthar and again he would heave been a great signing at that time. He went on to score and assist a boat load at BvB but again he bombed at United
Both were superb players at the time we wanted them but they ended up at United and bombed

Yeah no way can you say Sanchez bombed at Arsenal. He was almost unplayable for a season or two and single handedly kept them in the champions league. Different story at the Mancs though. Forced to comply with Mourinhos turgid football system he just didn't look the same player as he did for Arsenal and Chile.
Micky is a weird one. He looked the perfect player, hardworking, skilful, goals and creativity from midfield...but has been a monumental failure at both clubs. I think the league is too fast paced for him."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey
