Patronised the **** out of Hargreaves last night...."Listen Owen, listen....Owen Owen!" before proceeding to talk absolute bollocks.

It's incredible. All this hot air about modernising and playing progressive football and we have dinosaurs like Boothroyd involved.

Jordon Ibe was sitting on his arse at home while bums like Lingard (he did fluke a good goal to be fair but he is utterly horrendous) and Redmond stink the joint out.

Southgate will probably get a new contract as a reward.

England should just quit international football at all levels.

I feel a bit sorry for Southgate players like Sterling, Wilshere, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Barkley are all eligible to play for the U21s but aren't available to him, you have to think that they would improve the side.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Why aren't Spain in it? WTF? Defending champions too.

U-21 football, certainly for England always seems to be full of players that are never going to be quite good enough for the full squad.

England and international football just seems a massive waste of time.

But if the tactics are approach are wrong it's irrelevant. He stuck largely with the group that qualified. Sterling and Wilshere would have added little apart from to upset the harmony by playing the Billy big bollocks cards.

The worrying thing is the comments from Southgate after each game. He doesn't get it. He really doesn't.

Think I read the other day that they lost in the play-offs to Serbia.

I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
