    Steven Gerrard [Galaxy Watch]

    Makes his debut this weekend.

Thought we could have this thread for all his games and stuff at LA Galaxy

Be weird seeing him trot out for some team I dont care about, shame its on at 4am. Hes basically signed for a team that I will never bother to get up and watch as its on the West Coast.

FWIW I think he will absolutely rip it up in America. Him and Lampard are a class above anything they have out there at the moment. Even at this age.
    *Except Michael, who died.

Is there an MLS highlights programme shown on any UK TV channel?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Not sure about highlights, but Sky Sports have the MLS rights this season.

Gerrard's first game will be on Sky Sports 1 at 0430 (BST).

Not a great video by any stretch, but here's his highlights from the debut. For some reason they've seen fit to zoom into him everywhere.

Scored and assisted goals last night. Also won a penalty.

Robbie Keane scored two pens, wonder how long he'll be taking those.

How dare he touch Stevie G!

SG: "Boss! Boss! he touched my friggin ed there fella, give us a peno lad."

Ref: "ho ke Stevie, no problemo."

He's been taking and scoring penalties all his career, so why would he stop now?
That rug really tied the room together.

The clue is in the title of the thread.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Keane really has adapted well in the msl. A real success story over there, whereas alot of players go there to chill out, earn few quid and just play a bit of ball at the end of their career. Would be great to see Gerrard having a great season and winning a league title.

Be a massive help to Stevie settling in too. He looked well happy, and comfortable already.

Wonder how long it will take before the the yearning for the Liverbird, and home, call him back from boring LA.
