What happened at Hearts? Early on in the season they were nip and tuck with Aberdeen for 2nd, but then ended up 30 points off them - that's catastrophic. I was really surprised when I looked at the final table, I didn't realise the gap had gotten that big.

Anyway, let's just hope Brendan has a Wembley Semi Final Aston Villa style brain fade this weekend and Aberdeen win the cup.

Cathro has been a terrible appointment.

He has changed too much. Stopped playing the kids and brought in a load of Euro Journeyman. Robbie Neilson was doing an OK job. I think sometimes Hearts fans need to get a grip with what is even loosely possible v. some unrealistic notion.

2nd / 3rd in the League has to be the target with a good run in the cups.

The board are ****ed because they've said they will back him, even though it is clearly going pear shaped already.

Cathro is 30 years old and inexperienced, the job was too big for him. I'll give him until the first derby defeat next season.

I think Hearts supporters need to get a grip, when the tide began to turn against Robbie Neilson you have to wonder what the expectations actually are? Neilson was the perfect manager brought through loads of kids and gave the support a few seasons of cheer.

I think it was evident from his first couple of TV/radio interviews he was out of his depth.
