Lump on United playing at home to a Spurs team who arrived back from a meaningless friendly yesterday and then travelled straight up for the early kick off.

Spurs faced Real Madrid on Tuesday and AC Milan on Wednesday, in Germany, arriving back in London on Thursday. They play Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday at 12:45 BST. Man, can't wait. Indoor 5 a side in the morning. Back in time to watch Spurs kick Utd's butts. Some shopping, then Swansea to hold Chelsea to a bore 0-0 while the family are out on some do.

Unfortunately hitting Southend beach on Sunday (can't be wasting the brief excellent weather) but return to watch the recorded Pool match and associated MOTD highlights.
