He sounded so assured and knowledgeable on Sky, he'd say how a team should have done things, and you could see his logic.
Now, all that is in bits.
I remember him early on after Klopp joined, giving tactics on how to counter our tactics, and i was all...Shut the **** up Gary FFS!!'
It's all bullsihit though, easy to talk a good game, but getting players to do what you want, and if they wont, working out a system to get the most of the players you haave till you can bring in ones who will do what you want, isn't as easy.

Yep. I like him on telly tbh, he's very watchable, seems a good bloke and the dynamic with Carra is great, but it's all bollocks really isn't it. Give him two days to watch all the videos and he'll pull apart the reasons X, Y and Z happened - but he can't call it in advance or even in real time.
