Wonder what will happen with regards to Chelsea. He's definitely a summer target for them, seems he was for us too but given our circumstances we've made our move. Will Chelsea wait for a new manager? Can't help but feel if they get involved again we'll miss out.Vive la FranceComment

Yeah its crunch time, I think if we wait until the summer he'll be a Chelsea player. Our advantage is that we are moving now at a time when Chelsea don't have a manager in place, they won't be in the Champions League next year and we have Klopp. It won't get 'easier' for us from a negotiations point of view with the player, having said that I won't be on Ayre's back if we can't get this one across the line. They aren't easy to deal with as a club if you look at their history and the player was reported to have 'agreed terms' with Chelsea a while back so their interest is long standing.Originally posted by poorscousertommy View PostVive la FranceComment
