Let's not kid ourselves about the wages over the length of his contract - if he performs we'll be bumping up his wages accordingly. Suarez might have been on relative peanuts when he joined but he was given LFC's biggest ever contract too.

Judging Brazil players by international caps is a poor way to decide on a players worth these days - the last three coaches have been Gaucho's - southerners who have no time for self expression and flair. Which is why tried and "trusted" workhorses are usually employed to support Neymar.
