Latest I've heard on Teixeira is, club said to Klopp they'd be prepared to pay £38m asking price & gave Klopp the last word & he decided No

I know there'll be people who will question the info, but this same person told me Klopp was to be our next manager the night Rodgers left.
Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

What a tit! No point telling us something that cannot be proven.

Anyone reckon we'll be back in for him in the summer?

After Mkhitaryan, Konoplyanka and now Texeira it could put the club off dealing with Shakhtar and other Ukranian clubs

Nothing wrong with sharing something you have been told in good faith either though.

You don't have to believe it.

I think this guy has usually been pretty spot on in the past tbh.

I stopped following him when every Tweet of his became about promoting some kind of online betting agency.

That rings true based on Klopps 'trust us' message. It leaves the summer looking very interesting with undoubtedly a few exits as well as some interesting signings. It will be interesting to see how Klopp uses his 'War chest' when the transfer window next slams open.

I'm really frustrated that we didn't get anyone in, because we are seeing other rivals strengthening, like Everton and West Ham and we're having difficulties as it is. But on the other hand, I can see Klopp's point, if Origi, Benteke and Coutinho stay fit, let alone Sturridge with Ings coming back for the last few weeks maybe, we'd have way too many players on our hands.

We need to sell in the summer to make some space for other players.

I think we took the pragmatic approach and was probably right in so far we couldn't get the target we wanted.

His comments about playing for a year for him and then there's a decision makes a lot of sense and there will be a number of players playing for their squad places for next season.

I really don't think Liverpool (including Ayre) come out of this attempted deal looking bad. We identified a target, we were willing to negotiate but refused to be held to ransom.

As for Klopp's recent interview, it does give a little insight as to how he operates. It very much reads like he has given every player a clean slate and an opportunity to impress. Don't listen, don't perform and after 12 months Liverpool will look to replace you. You can't say fairer than that.

As long as we, as fans, can remember to get over defeat quickly and remember the longer term ambitions of the club, this season of tinkering and training could well be a master-stroke.

Don't forget Gotze. That's in the bag.

It will create a mouth-watering front line:

                            Reus --- Gotze --- Firmino
                            --------- Benteke
