Cos its a slog to win the EL and do well in the league. Now obviously Klopp could have a squad capable of fight on two long term fronts next season but somehow I doubt it.

Having an extra 8 million to spend on players that would rather sign for a near top of table team versus a team that finishes in the bottom half is significant
