Spurs will win tomorrow and then next weekend will define it.

Leicester away to United and Spurs away to Chelsea.

You'd think so. They could easily both loose.

Even if Leicester lost next weekend and Spurs won it would be a 2 point lead with Leicester playing Everton at home. Spurs need to win every game and need Leicester to lose 2 out of the final three when they've only lost 3 times all season.

I'm increasingly convinced they are going to see it out. They look really solid, and the relegation battle means they know how to fight for a point or a win.

        Impressive.

              Yep, huge weekend ahead.

Today is the first time I've believed that Leicester will do it. Had a nagging doubt about Spurs sneaking the title until now.

The two title chasers should be playing on the same day at the same time.

I genuinely don't believe it makes all that much difference.

Basically both teams need to win games? If Leicester lose Spurs have even more motivation. If Leicester win, then they are a point or so away from the title.

It must be unreal being a Leicester supporter right now.

How long would they have to unify the playing time? last 3 games? 5? 10?

Who makes the decision as to whether a team is close enough to play at the same time?

I don't ultimately see who would benefit? It must be infuriating to be a Spurs supporter right now but mainly because Leicester have such a sizeable lead going into the final games and that are hardly dropping any points. They've got three games to go and they can even afford to lose one of them.

I'm nearly as astonished by Spurs too. Just didn't see them coming. They've been ok up until now but must be confident of mounting a challenge next season too

What's it with Leicester playing Sunday/ Tottenham playing Monday? Will be 3 weeks in a row. Any explanation about this?

SKY SPORTS looking to get viewing figures for both Sunday and MNF?

I think they were working on a scenario where 'if' Leicester collapsed there is huge interest in the Spurs game too. Like, if they'd lost today it makes the MNF game huge, watching Spurs reel Leicester in. Only Leicester aren't losing, meaning the drama doesn't really exist. The Dog n duck under 13's XI would have beaten Swansea today.

They already have equality on the last day of the season, all games and teams kick off at the same time. Don't see why they can't do it for the last few games for those still capable of winning it. Right now the only ones mathematically in with a chance are the top two.

Its like the psychology of the penalty shootout, statistics show that the team shooting first wins more often than the one going second. Its why the tie break in tennis is structured as it is. It's fairer. Yes both teams know what they have to do but obviously if the other team has won the pressure gets that bit more intense for the team playing second.

I think there's a huge difference between us and Leicester. They are normally a yo-yo club - relegation candidates last season. We've not been relegated since 1977!

Champions League is not new for us. We have been in European competition more than 25 times (someone will know the number no doubt), we have won the league, challenged for the league, won FA cups, and numerous other trophies. Leicester have had none of that. They are a mediocre Midlands club having a wonder season. Spurs have a lasting heritage and a worldwide reputation for attractive football.

If anyone wants to read Spurs perspective on the title run in there is some proper cringey stuff like the above on http://www.thefightingcock.co.uk/for...e-run-in.16911 That gem is on page 88. The last week or so is from page 75 ish.
