            I remember when Comolli was sacked, and the first two names linked as his replacement were Cruyff and Van Gaal.

            I really wanted Cruyff to be a Sporting Director with us, to shape us behind the scenes for a few years. It would've been a real coup to see a legendary name like that agreeing to come on board and provide a footballing strategy.

            He was an awesome player too, just fantastic. I couldn't believe it when I saw the headline. RIP Johan Cruyff.
