I beg to differ I'm afraid bud, I think Gotze will flourish more under Klopp as Klopp knows Gotze inside out but having said that, either one would be a fantastic signing for us

Yep would prefer Gotze as well of that pairing. Like you said he knows how Klopp works (and flourished under Klopp) and Klopp know Gotze and how to get him to perform.

Think he is more of a playmaker (when used in that role) that Micky Ryan is, and more effective in a wide position as well.

That being said would be very happy if we got either as they would be upgrades to our starting XI.

I'm going to beat this drum again - Klopp was part of a wider recruitment team
that picked the players. Most of the credit for finding them tended to go to Zorc who was the DoF at Dortmund.

Klopp absolutely had input into this process and as you said turned these players to world stars via his coaching methods.
