This first season always had the feel of a write off, he came in pretty early but during a demanding period and everyone gave him this as Year 0.

However a Europa League trophy and CL football would be perfect, almost like skipping a year of progress and all the benefits that come along with it.

I know exactly what you mean. The comeback v Dortmund confirmed that for me. The 5-4 comeback was were it started I think but the Europa matches of late have shed a different light over what was previously a fragile mentality.

Really. I've thought them to be a shower of **** all season but I was happy to do them as they are one of the jammiest teams on the planet. I was really concerned about taking on Dortmund but I thought the 2 legs might suit us better than taking them on in a 1 off final.
