Plus, it seems to me that Klopp was fairly confident from the messages he was receiving that Gotze would sign for us this summer. It was pretty magnanimous and big hearted of Klopp to offer him that chance tbh, after the guy did the dirty on him to spent 2 years being a sub at Bayern...
...and then he messes Klopp around again by basically making us his back-up on the off-chance Barca or Real come in for him (as if..).
So that's how I've formed my view of him. Was disappointed not to sign him at first, but not arsed now because I'm pleased with the AM signings we've made (and he didn't go to Spurs
).

Mario Gotze told to reunite with Klopp at Anfield
Mario Gotze has been urged to press for a move to Liverpool in an attempt to reignite his faltering career.
Gotze could have joined former boss Jurgen Klopp at Anfield in 2016 but opted against a transfer from Bayern Munich after the Reds failed to qualify for the Champions League.
The 26-year-old instead chose to rejoin Borussia Dortmund, where he was given his first-team debut by Klopp having come through the ranks.
Gotze has fallen down the pecking order at Dortmund this season, with his appearance in the midweek 1-0 Champions League win at Bruges only the second of the campaign.
And former Dortmund teammate Kevin Grosskreutz has told the player he needs a change of scenery, with Anfield the most attractive destination.
"I’m very sorry for Mario Gotze at the moment, because stuff is written about him – and only him – every day," he said to Sky Sport in Germany.
"In Bruges, for example, the whole team didn’t play well.
"Maybe it would be good for him to go abroad in the winter to find a bit more peace and bring his career back on track.
"(Jurgen) Klopp knows him quite well, he would be a good fit for Liverpool."
Liverpool Echo....What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

He's broken and can't run. He'd be a **** fit for Liverpool.
Only way you'll him and JK at a signing is if he's autograph hunting and a Jamiroqui gigLast edited by BillobShaisley; 26-09-18, 01:58 PM."that is my opinion and that is more important than what anyone else has to say about it" - Mr A.Fergusson, Oct 2011

Would not even be going there for Sancho especially if they wanted silly money for him.
Just had a look at their squad and for the first time in quite a bit they do not have one player that I would put into our first team ahead of who we have for the position.
The only player from there that comes close would be Reus, but I still would not take him over any of our front three.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Maybe when Jones gets 5 minutes in a competitive game you can say that...Originally posted by Maxiedge View PostI think people still need to keep their dick in their pants , re: Sancho.
He doesn’t look any better than Curtis Jones to me currently.
Pulisic is the real deal in both character and ability.
