Well i depends how he has lost it.

Must be a difficult scenario. With sports stars who start making mega money they are not usually born into money. At an age a lot of us were probably a little more frivolous with our money they are pushed into a world were it seems endless. He could have spunked it up the wall of cars and houses I don't know.

But I bet there are all sorts of vultures leeches and hangers on desperate to get their mitts all over it and if he has lost his money because he has gone about things sensibly but the financial advisors have been giving him **** advice and lining their own pockets well thats harsh on him.

His whole career was just just a money grabber. Every time he left a club it was for money... Can't believe after that he still ran out of it.

Also, when he was clearly finished for the national team he continually made comments about how he was working hard to make it back into the squad at 35 years old instead of just retiring. He went from a darling of the sport here to a forgotten man and completely fell off the radar.
