Surely too strong for whatever Russia have?

Only in theory. In practice having Rooney behind an impotent Sterling and Lallana will have delighted the Russians.

Probably a draw until subs come on to sort out the mess.

Lallana must only be in because he works hard. Surely they'll line up 4-2-3-1 style rather than a conventional 4-3-3 too. If not Kane is going to be very isolated.

Very strong England bench. How on earth Walker got in ahead of Clyne is beyond me.

Clyne can enjoy the rest and Walker playing himself out of the side.

Rooney in midfield. Good to see we still pick the name over what's best for the team

How many goals between Vardy and Kane this season? It must be 40+ and I doubt Rooney is in double digits. Here is an opportunity to throw caution to the wind and play players on the back of great seasons and Hodgson has reverted to type. Even when our defence isn't up to scratch.

Vardy, Kane and Alli then fill in the rest. Hodgson has gone for Rooney and built it around a player devoid of form or match fitness.

I hope it's a spotty number and not studded diamanté's.
