I said it in the match thread and it pains me to say it, as he plays for Spurs, but what a player Alli is. Wow, I'll go back to hating him once the tournaments over. He's a very subtle player in some sense as he has an amazing touch and ability to hold onto the ball in tight situations that can be taken for granted. It's not all 30 yards screamers just yet. I think any criticism of him is harsh considering he's only played a handful of International games. Surely, we can put bitterness away to one side and just admire an amazing talent?

Sterling was way over hyped even when he played for us

His form has dipped but he was never the world beater he was made out to be
