They're not ****e. That's a ****ing ludicrous assertion.Originally posted by ChesterDave View PostPortugal have been ****ing ****e this tournement in every game they have played. Every one of them.
Sure they may not be the next incarnation of Brazil 1970 but they're very effective when it comes to tournament football.

They were in pot 1 and finished 3rd in a group of 4. The winner of their group would have been ranked 6th of 6th out of all group winners. The last placed team in their group was the second worst in the whole tournement based on results.
Despite that they could only get out of the group stages by being the 3rd best 3rd place team out of 6. In a group that contained Iceland and Hungary.
They then took 118 minutes to have a single shot on target against Croatia.
Bored their way to a penalty shout our victory against Poland, and finally beat Wales - a team who at the start of the competition were regarded as massive outsiders
If they were controlling games and winning like Italy I would agree with you. They aren't though. They are deadful.Football without Origi is nothing

They were Unbeaten in the group stages and have progressed to the final while conceding a single goal in 3 knockout games.
Their record this century in tournament football is surpassed only by the absolute elite.

Portugal have been ****ing ****e to be fair. Wales looked exhausted, Allen and Bale looked burned out. Unfortunately missing Ramsey and Davies was too much of a loss to their side. Fabulous tournament from Wales though.
Surely the Germans or France would really be fancying their chances vs Portugal. Gomez out is a huge loss for Germany though, was a good focal point for them.
