Not really, just low scoring attritional games. I haven't got many standout moments from Euros, they just seem beige

It would have been good for all the home nations and Ireland to have been there.

I really can't remember. I remember watching a game in a pub but then I just remember that's where I watched Murphy scoring and us beating the mancs.

We were having this conversation in work - England really are the new Scotland in tournaments. They go in with a degree of pessimistic optimism, like if they say they're going to win it, it will jinx it - then they are sent home in embarrassing fashion after performing nowhere near as well as they could or should have. The nation shrugs....
