State of this tournament. A team that finishes 3rd in their group goes on to win it, and wins one game in normal time, with three other games won after extra time.

The whole thing was very dull, defensive, low on attacking quality. Portugal were no exception but as much as I question the format they won fair and square.

Well, I can agree, since Iceland would have qualified anyway, and were second in their group as well. It was a bit of damp sponge this tournament, but I think these tournaments usually are. It's easier to get success over 3-7 games with good organisation, defending and team work, so I guess we'll see that tactic more on the international stage.
