Looks like England might have to forfit the game against Iceland next week.

Iceland play Denmark, in Denmark. No one is allowed to come to the UK who has recently been to Denmark due to the new strain of Covid from Danish Mink Farms.

Isn't it a pointless game anyway? Neither team can go through and I believe both are guaranteed to finish in their current positions in the group.

That said failing to fulfil an international fixture is a serious issue and I think England should be banned from all International competitions

Chuffed we're out. Rest for our players and Kane isn't lauded as the second coming of Christ. He's such a vanilla character, dull as ditch water... luckiest footballer there is. Simulates fouls by diving into opposition players (can't stand Calvert-Lewin either for this reason) and pleads innocence with every snide tackle or boot they leave in. Snidey ****ing player and hate him and CL both. At least with that other dick, Ricarlison - he is what he is... doesn't try to hide it. Another snide ****er though.

During the ****show between Iceland and England you can keep an eye out for Ísak Jóhannesson and Sveinn Guðjohnsen, sons of Eidur and Joey Gudjonsson who played for Stoke and Leicester IIRC. Ísak is only 17 and being scouted by Juventus and Madrid.

Sveinn is Eidurs oldest of three sons but it seems he is not rated as high as the others two. Isak is generating a lot of interest, being 17 and playing regularly with Norrkoping.

Watching the women’s England team play is quite entertaining; don’t really give a **** but probably more than the men’s side. They’re pretty decent to watch.

It's England's manager that inhibits their chances, not their players. Most of the England squad play in England in the most competitive league in the world, playing the most intense football week in, week out. Southgate plays a few games a year

The thing is that England SHOULD be spoken about in those terms.

The squad is really good, the players available to them provide a serious level of quality and depth.


Just off the top of my head and probably leaving out some even better players but you could have something like



Foden--------------Kane--------------------Saka
--------Jones--------------------Bellingham
---------------------Rice--------------------------
Colwill----- Stones------Tomori------TAA
---------------------Pope--------------------



As a starting XI and you have serious qquality in each department.


The back line in particular could be changed a few times and you still would have back lines that whilst not exciting sounding they would be bloody effective.


Midfield options are just top notch imo and especially when you look at some of the potential back ups available and even in attack there are more than a few options to be the back ups that would walk into other international teams.

I think england and france should be fancied to winnthe the euros this year to be honest. And maybe Portugal as a sneaky one.

But their manager is a plonker too. If Henderson gets into that squad then they deserve to get spanked just for that alone. ****in basket case ****.
