Thanjk you.

I think England and France are the 2 strong favorites. A fit midfield with Bellingham and Rice is pretty decent. Then Kane, Foden and Saka up top. Its the defence they need to concern themselves with.
Portugal in with a shout if they bin off Ronaldo too.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Thomas Tuchel in advanced talks to become England manager
Former Chelsea and Bayern Munich manager is the new favourite to succeed Gareth Southgate and negotiations could now move rapidly
Thomas Tuchel is in advanced talks to become the new England manager after being approached by the FA.
Negotiations could now accelerate rapidly as the FA moves to end the uncertainty that has swirled around the position since Gareth Southgate’s resignation after England lost the Euro 2024 final to Spain in July.
Overtures to Tuchel, who has been out of work since leaving Bayern Munich at the end of last season, have been made by Mark Bullingham, the FA chief executive, and technical director John McDermott and the 51-year-old German is keen to take up the role.
The FA have also sounded out other candidates including Pep Guardiola, the Manchester City manager whose contract expires at the end of this season.
However, it appears that Tuchel is now firmly in the driving seat and should discussions not throw up any hitches he would become England’s third foreign national team coach after Sven-Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello.
Tuchel would fit the remit of England needing a “world-class coach who has won trophies” which was outlined by the interim manager Lee Carsley after Sunday’s 3-1 Nations League win over Finland in Helsinki.
Carsley, the England’s Under-21 head coach, had been put in charge for six Nations League games until next month and has given mixed messages as to whether he wants to be considered for the top job.
That, together with last week’s ramshackle defeat by Greece at Wembley, torpedoed Carsley’s hopes and Tuchel is now the front runner.
Tuchel knows English from his time at Chelsea when he led the club to Champions League success in 2021 and he also worked with England captain Harry Kane at Bayern last season before his exit. He has been on gardening leave since then, but sources in Germany have said that the FA would not have to pay compensation.
Tuchel was considered by Manchester United in the summer, but the club’s hierarchy opted to keep Erik ten Hag in situ after an end-of-season review.
It'll be interesting to see how the England fans take to having a German manager, with their various anti-German songs.
