It's ****ing disgusting that such basic refereeing 'errors' like that are still a huge part of the game. First match of the season but that 2 point gift could equate to several league positions come the end if the season, or be the difference between winning the league and coming second or third. So much time, effort and talent goes into the playing side and the football authorities can't even do the basics to support the game.

Add that to the impetus of winning games & psychologically how that affects teams, its a massive factor that they got three points last night; then add the fact that the dirty prick was still on the pitch to score is galling.
