    English Football Managers

Are there any that aren't repugnant?

I'm honestly struggling to think of any. There must be one surely? Just one?
    Oh I don't know.

Even in the olden days I don't remember many.

Bob Paisley. Alf Ramsey. Some of the West Ham managers. Clough of course. Bobby Robson.
          Oh I don't know.

I tweeted something along these lines earlier. It is remarkable how many of them, mostly the old guard, strut around with this ugly sense of entitlement and an irreproachable arrogance. A God complex. And they're all **** or mediocre at best. What the hell is it with them?

Allardyce, Hodgson, Pardew, Redknapp...all those mugs. It's the LMA crew isn't it. Keys & Gray oozed that same ugly sense that they were untouchable. **** off eh lads. It's marvellous to see it all crumbling.

Not many these days alright, but as regards England national team managers and how he generally conducted himself at club level..........Bobby Robson was the last likeable one.
              Absolute gent.

Loads of them are expros who played in the 80's. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that football as an industry in the 80's hasn't provided society with many enlightened men, or many progressive thinkers.

Fast forward 30 years and chuck some money at them and you essentially have just created Alan Pardew.

They didn't make much money from the game either, look at the game now and probably think they're owed something.

His head definitely looks CGI'd in the 2nd half of that GIF.
