I think this has been the worst for stand out bad decisions and consistency in how games are officiated I can remember, it might be that for some reason the officials are now being pushed into a sort of starring role in games now so there's more focus on them.

Having Dermott Gallagher wheeled out to justify why/why not certain decisions has been is just painful as he contradicts himself usually within the same sentence.

Agreed. They have totally lost sight of the fundamentals of the game and where and why VAR should help. We could do with outsourcing the entire operation.

I think he's decent. He used to be a bit of a parody of himself but when you listen to him, he does make a lot of sense.

Some of his Man Utd channel talk is gold plated Partridge - but I do like his even handedness on general football matters.

I think that's part of the 'character' he's created

His real name isn't even Mark Goldbridge, wouldn't surprise me if he's not really a Man Utd superfan either.

I'm sure he was outed as a Forest fan back when he first started the channel

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Incorrect application of the rules rather than **** decision. I recall similar incidents where matches have been replayed because the ref got something wrong althought I can't recall the precise circumstances.

I know it is unlikely to happen but as an example, if a player scores an own goal from a goal kick the correct decisions is corner, not goal. Its that sort of thing.
                                Football without Origi is nothing
