They had a decent side but Mourinho wasn't playing some of their better players and the style of play didn't suit those players.

I don't think that they are a great side but over a full season they are a top 4 side. Whether they get it or not this season probably depends on how well Chelsea (and maybe Spurs) do for the rest of the season

Hopefully the players are just on a high now because the dour **** that was Mouriho has gone and they are all putting that extra effort in, hopefully OGS will get the job in the summer and when that becomes the norm they will stop putting in their extra effort to prove Mourinho was the problem and drop down a level or two.

Having said that, you could argue that every game is an away game from them. Their fans absolutely hate Wembley.

No one gets a wank fest quite like De Gea when he saves a shot straight at him. Made lots of saves but you'd be fuming if your goalie conceded any of them. Some shocking finishing by Tottenham.

De Gea won them the game today, although Spurs finishing was poor.

But what is the situation with De Gea's contract, they activated the year extension just before Christmas, so he has 18 months left, will they sell him in the summer to get money for him, let his contract run down, or will he sign a new contract with them? If he isn't going to sign a contract selling him this summer could make sense.
