Bunch of corrupt cunts but i can't say I'm surprised as it had to be the worst kept secret in football that those two clubs were rotten to the core. I still stand by my orignal statement that the Mail is a **** rag.

And I still say that you missed the point entirely.

The Mail is ****e (scroll up for my views) but their sports section is pretty good comparatively.

But in the meantime, feel free to pick and choose which part of the story you refuse to believe, depending on your football alliances.

Consider your clip around the ear duly administered.

This will be the thing to condemn Everton to relative obscurity? I thought that they already had been
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

A European Superleague can kiss my arse.

If it happened, I think I'd **** the whole thing off. I love the cut and thrust of playing the ****e teams and watching big teams stumble against them.

I'd agree with this although bizarrely I know a bloke who does sports writing for the Mail, yet never seems to watch (even on TV) the (fairly major) sport he's paid to report on unless he's been sent by them

Why don't all clubs in all leagues consider binning FIFA? Their precious international competitions will be pretty shabby without the majority of stars playing in it.

They only act in self preservation, it's never for the benefit of anyone bar themselves

This is true of the whole football industry from the top down.

                    There are no redeeming features.

European super league chat always pops its head up in the time before the Champions League rights are up for bid again. Seems to be on a 2 years cycle.

My only actual experience of football league structure is the Tandridge youth league and even at that level it's all about petty fines and procedure
