So Madrid will win nothing this season?

          Was some final, chaos.

Just watched some of the highlights from the end of the game. Rudiger throwing something at the ref and the carry on from the Madrid players was shocking. I’m glad we didn’t sign Bellingham and we got the four from last season instead.

Saw that. I mean, histrionics from the ref, but even so, that amount of intended pressure needs to be stopped by UEFA and the Spanish League. My guess is it won't be. Totally unacceptable.
              Really?

Such a despicable club - deliberately inviting more abuse onto refs for their own purposes

And then add their Balloon Door hissy fit over Vinicus Jr - seriously?

Yep would love to see them banned from European competitions for a while as a reality check to them as to who is running things, & it’s not them.

Absolutely. It's Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE.

Just because they constantly beat us in the Champs league

I'm actually in awe of just how cuntish a club they are but on the other hand it's amazing how they continually produce very good to great sides.

Think it's been touched on before in this thread but their dominance of European club football over the last 25 years against the backdrop of the rise of Oligarch/state ownership of clubs is pretty ****ing impressive

                        Let’s ban them too

There’s nothing to like about that club at all. Putting pressure on referees , tapping up players the list goes on. Nothing classy about them at all.

Agree but Real really do lead the way in telling players what to do for the benefit of the club. And they give the player a year & if it doesn’t work out they sell the player & bank the cash. Rinse & repeat.

To be fair, it is not as though Real Madrid have not benefitted from a number of very dodgy loans and bail outs over the years.

The Spanish government and various banks have been very helpful in maintaining Real's status.

Real run into serious debt over 20 years ago and needed a 500m lump sum to clear it. Perez just sells the training ground to the city for the amount needed to clear the debt and then the city gives the construction firm owned by Perez a contract worth hundreds of millions to develop the site the training ground is on.

World economy crashing and all loan options in Spain frozen but you want to buy Ronaldo? In comes a government owned Spanish bank with an interest free loan to Real for the amount needed to buy Ronaldo.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
