Incorrect penalty decisions were made by the video assistant referee in all three of Thursday's games, the Premier League has told BBC Match of the Day.

Bruno Fernandes won a spot-kick which he scored in Manchester United's 3-0 win over Aston Villa.

The process is shambolic. There needs to be one person making decisions. It's clear that there is reluctance when one person has to overrule another, especially when both individuals are familiar with each other, part of the same organisation etc. Either the on-field ref stops play and reviews the video, or the VAR makes the decisions and the on-field is just a guy with a headset and a whistle.

Having said that, I think Kane threw himself down and didn't deserve a pen.

Yeah I agree. I've tried to justify it as a pen in my mind but I just can't see it. Odd.

As for the Bruno Fernandes decision, that is an absolute disgrace. It's not just the VAR decision but his reaction looking for the pen. ****.

Nah, they won't challenge and you can quote me on that. They are going through a purple patch with so much falling into place for them. There has been some shocking goalkeeping, defending and decisions go their way. They're riding a wave but once things stop falling into place for them, they'll go back to their old ways. Remember they've got two dodgy CBs and poor left back and inconsistent keeper. I'm still not sure about Martial and Pogba when the going gets tough. Watch this space

True their back 5 is ****e. The starting midfield and Frontline is decent but also true about pogba and martial. Consistency isn't a word you'd associate with any of them.

They had absolutely no chance this season and they knew it. It's been like that for a while and so unless they are in the relegation zone, I'd find it funnier if they were in the race at least for 10 games to get their hopes up....before an Ole implosion.

Norwich have to be the worst PL side since Derby County

I don’t think they are. Really young side, playing football the right way. Results show different though.

Not the right way to stay up though. That much was evident from the first game they played against us. Valiant but it was never enough on reflection.

I suppose knowing that Everton are getting Pickfordised is one way of dealing with the disappointment from yesterday.
