Tbf it’s great to be even in this position, even if we are level on GD we get fourth thanks to that Salah goal in the 3-1 in February.

A draw would have been best as we could have ended in 3rd if we'd won our next two but really any result was a good result for us as it gives us a solid chance of top 4.

We just have to win our next two to be sure!

It goes goal difference then goals scored. Leicester have currently scored 3 more than us.

H2H does not feature at all in PL ranking criteria. Points, Goal Difference, Goals Scored. That is it. If there is still a tie the rules actually say both teams will be awarded the place. Obviously that cannot happen for a CL place so almost certainly would mean that there would need to be a one off match.

I'm not sure what the source is. It might be right but I was going off this link that I found last week. I'd hope the PL website is more accurate than the Echo!

                This!

“ Premier League rules say if two sides are level after goals scored they will be considered to be tied—but if a determination needs be made for the purposes of deciding the title, European qualification, or relegation, head-to-head record will be used.”

Now imagine that’s the state of play on Sunday (our match vs Palace still in progress) and Leicester have just gone 2-0 up with 20 mins to go

so after a season of seeing us miss chance, after chance, after chance; potentially we are in a last day shootout............ Great.

Only plus side is that 'all about me' Kane will be desperate for the golden boot

I think we need to worry about tonight more than the final day.

that is only a plus if he rattles in a few goals..... if he is shooting from 40 yards when he could slip in a teammate for an easier chance, then it's not too clever.

Leicester could beat Spurs 3-0. They could also lose 3-0. It has to be a good thing for us that spurs still have something to play for.....so hopefully they win tonight too

Too much to hope for, but it'd be nice for the Spurs fans to give Kane a bollocking
