It's all about clicks/shares/impressions though, isn't it? And from that perspective its doing its job.
      Football without Origi is nothing

2018 was a total hack job. Injuring players as freely as Everton and not a word. That cup was ours.

I don't get the whole rethoric about if they signed Sancho then that would have made a huge difference. Almost like dildo hasn't been backed in the transfer market. They've spent more than ****in anyone over the last 10 years or so. They go on about Citys bench..... In reality bailly and lindelof both cost big money. Fred cost big money. Pogba cost record levels in the UK. Maguire 85mil

          They've just bought really ****e.

Their net spend over the last 10 years is slightly less than City at just less than £1bn and they are complaining about lack of imvestment
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

            Are they?

Or are they complaining about chronic mismanagement and the fact that the owners have sucked a billion quid out of the club in interest payments?

It's subtle I know, but let's be fair.
            Oh I don't know.

Perhaps but would they be complaining If they’d won some silverware, a few PL titles for instance.

I have a feeling we’d be seeing far less complaining if that was the case

Do you think their point is unjustified?

And is it any different to our protests against Hicks and Gillette? Our protests were loud and vocal far before the magnitude of the financial situation was in the public domain.

Everyone should be united in campaigning to boot these blood sucking leaches out of the game regardless of who you support.
                Oh I don't know.

I always thought that was the case. It probably adds to their frustrations that they haven't won much since Fergie left, but the main essence is that the Glazier's manage United much like Hicks and Gillett used to do ours.

What does it matter if the owners take a billion quid out of the club when the club is competing on the field, has one of the very highest transfer budgets in Europe, is appointing popular managers etc? The lack of investment in the stadium I get, but what else makes that billion quid the difference between good and evil? They want another billion quid in the transfer budget so they can try and buy domination of the league, is that the righteous cause?

Their problem is that they share a city with City. The ridiculousness of Man City has been normalised to them because of the local exposure to financial doping and spending £50m each on the reserve side. Nobody can, nor should, try to emulate City, and I suspect it’s better for the game that that billion quid disappears across the Atlantic than gets ploughed into a local willy waving contest at the most privileged end of the premier league.

I agree with Kenneth. Same as any business people only care about the financial structure when it is underperforming. We would have loved Hicks and Gillette (and we did for a bit when they signed Torres) if we had been winning titles. It was the financial crash in 2008/09 that hammered them and showed how leveraged their deal was. It’s a good point that they also now have to compare results with a team they used to dominate who now outperform them comprehensively in pretty much any area you choose to mention.

The Glazers deliver an elite transfer budget and sign top level players for Man U consistently. They seem to be lacking in football nouse (same as FSG) and the ability to recruit the right manager and sporting director.

They also appear reluctant to invest in the stadium.

If Utd win the League next year, other than the hardcore nobody will care about how leveraged the club is.
                          Modifying post.

Well yes to be fair they are complaining about the mis-management of the club but one of the main examples that I have seen fans who have been interviewed on TV or complaining though other sources give is that the Glazers mis-management and taking money out of the club means that they can't compete in the transfer market (with City) and as a result they aren't challenging for the title etc. Which is clearly bollocks. They have spent vast amounts of money it's just that much of it has been wasted.

I agree that we as football fans don't want owners like the Glazers, and I said many times that us having been in the position of having ****ty owners in H&G I have some sympathy. That said their situation is nowhere near as bad as ours was we were genuinely in danger of going bust, as far as I can tell that isn't the case for them. If it were as their net spend over the last few years wouldn't significantly out strip everyone in the league apart from City (and probably most teams in Europe too). They aren't exactly on skid row, which is no defence of the Glazers actions. Despite not liking their club I have no like or admiration etc for the Glazers. If their fans really feel that the owners are such a problem they needed to take action sooner, the Glazers have been running the club in this way for 15 years. Any sympathy I have is for those who have been fighting the Glazers ownership from the early days. IMO the motives of many of the more recent fans to join the protests have other motives IMO related to unhappiness about lack of success on the pitch and I suspect these are probably now the majority and are undermining the original message
