Early in the season still but Sheffield Utd are in deep trouble, aren't they.
    Oh I don't know.

Yes they are. Not sure why it's not working, but they're probably going to get trapped in a cycle of low confidence.

Pickford's days have got to be numbered with Ancelotti. Next year they'll have a new goalkeeper.
          Are we winning?

Some theories posit the not as good goalkeeper problem. Henderson was capable. The new one, not so much. Ergo confidence dips. We know what that is like.

That said, it doesn't explain the lack of goals. Brewster is decent. Has he had any chances? If not, is that his fault or the rest of the team / system?

It's not a question I'm qualified to answer.

I don't think Brewster is good enough at that level. He's a goalscorer yes, but doesn't do much in open play. Sheffield might have got themselves the wrong horse.

I wonder if he's any good at panenka penalties?

To be fair to Brewster they are a horribly negative side for any striker to play in. Not sure they are the right fit for him but early days.

MOTD not sure if it was last week or the week before but they were showing how players were getting into good positions to play balls into the box but weren't doing so. Until they start doing that they aren't going to be creating chances for their strikers. I think Brewster would be decent for them if he was getting chances, but I don't really think he is.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I thought what Wilder did last season was admirable and I do understand certain teams have to do what you have to do to win games or get points but I detest watching them and the likes of Burnley. Its anti football and it does seem that defences as a whole have gone out the window in the prem so far this season and its all about attack this season. Feel for Brewster, probably itching to push on and try prove himself in the prem but he is playing in a team that does not prioritise their strikers or scoring goals. He can make all the runs he wants but if he's not getting the ball, he's is pissing against the wind.

Where do people get the idea that Sheffield Utd are anti football? They attack in numbers and should have far more points than their position suggests.

Spurs look good this season. Jose has made them hard to beat and they’re now winning when not playing well.
