Long way to go to that stage yet. Love their forum I do. Relentless complaining that everyone from the FA, PL, UEFA, PGMOL, Liverpool (or Littlewoods as they seem to think is funny to call us), United, and TV companies are all conspiring against them yet we are 'Victim FC'

If tripping yourself and falling over is a pen now then we need to re-sign Andy Carroll.

I'm not sure I'm being Kurt angled, but stupid Luiz puts his right leg across Pogba's path making him clip his calf and subsequently trip himself up. It was a blatant penalty.

It’s not a pen, Pogba has moved his leg into his path. It’s all very clever and there’s loads of it going on now. One thing VAR has stopped it seems is punishment for simulation, you go down and hope the ref blows which invariably he does. If it does get overturned there’s no recourse anymore and the game restarts without a yellow card being shown.

What the clip doesn't show is the position of Pogba's arm which is in the face /throat of the Villa player. Far more of an impediment than a leg brushing against another leg.

I think they have been lucky and rely on Bruno and Rasher too much. They have no experience in winning a title either and I think that we are a far superior team, with a far superior manager. In saying that it has been a really weird season so **** knows.

It was absolutely not a penalty, the replays have made that abundantly clear.

33 penalties in 59 games. Why even bother making them play? Just hand them the points beforehand and save everyone the bother.
                  3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Not one mention anywhere apart from the Villa manager that the penalty was bull****. I hope klopp brings it up before our game against them. Puts it in everyone's mind that they are cheating cunts.

They may rely on Fernandes and Rashford too much, but as long as they're fit its a problem for anyone they play. They may be fit for the remainder of the season for all we know.

They were 9 points from the top in November, they've built momentum, and whilst I agree that we're a stronger side when everyones fit, we know that we wont have a fully fit squad for the remainder of the season.

We can’t complain of the penalties they’re getting as we’ve had the luck of some of them as well, VAR or not. The fact is that United have been building up quietly and have been dismissed as not good enough. Now they are, having amassed the most points in the league since February. I don’t think they’re getting away. Well, only way to put them back in their place is for us to win the next two games.

We win the next two and it'll lay down a massive marker. With Thiago back its possible.

But we don't know if they or anyone else for that matter will have a fully fit squad. Covid has taken 5 city players out of their line up, it could happen to any team as could injuries. We have been absolutely decimated at the back and have a world class CM in Thiago that has played a handful of minutes and we are still top. I don't think we have played well in a lot of game either.

One thing I will say is that imo I think it is absolutely imperative for us to buy a CB in this window. It has to happen, if Fab gets injured we are in serious bother. It was always going to be an odd season, covid has seen to that. Winning the league at a canter imo gave us a false sense of where we were. The premier league is too competitive to end with that much of a points gap. They have some excellent players and with the amount of money they have spent you would expect that but they have zero experience in what in takes to win a title, we do. I still think City will make a push too, they have had key injuries too and now have Walker, Jesus, Edison and 2 more players out with covid... that could happen to any club in the league over the next few months.

Two massive games ahead for us, Saints game could be a tricky one and then that United game should be a belter, I think it's exciting to have a real challenge on our hands from several teams.
