It was a genuine attempt to get the ball, and it was there for the taking when he went for the tackle. He was guilty of not predicting that the defenders leg was about to move into the way. Everything looks calculated when watched in slow-mo, but it didn't look deliberate to me. Maybe it's still due a red card for force of whatever, but I thought KDB's yellow was just as bad, not so much force, but he knew exactly where the leg he landed on was.

It's very impressive the way that they have brought him through to the first team. Helps when you have worldies galore, but when he started being hyped, they didn't play him for ages, and then introduced him very slowly, mainly training with the first team until he was ready to be a starter.

I hear ya - remember VVD vs Napoli and Kompany vs us - both similar and ended in yellows. The game was against them at that stage and had started to get a but nasty so I thought he left something in

Two of the scabbiest goals imaginable for City. Reminded me of United. A cross that went straight in and a wall that inexplicably moved out of the way of the shot.

They're so solid at the back though City, I've got to give them that.

Shocking decision. Mic the cunts up ASAP and then we can know what their thinknig is. ?Its grotesque arrogance of football to think they can do this **** better than other sports. It works in cricket. it works in rugby.

Denying a goal scoring opportunity by successfully winning the ball?

How awful of the defender. This isn't a non ****ing competitive sports day
