City fans are the worst. Even in League 1 they were arseholes who caused loads of trouble at Notts County (whose fanbase is basically a nursing home afternoon out, hardly the Inter City Firm). Now they have some imaginary rivalry with us which causes them to come out with the most extreme bull****. Their demise will be lovely to watch.

As a Manchester City fan, I can say that you are being stitched up by one of the biggest con-jobs ever inflicted upon football. I hope you smash the charges out of the park and that the independent regulator comes in and exposes the red cartel. Only in this mad world of football can solvent clubs that are forces for good in their communities (ie not turfing out local residents to redevelop the ground) be persecuted in such a way. Only in this mad world of football can a club wearing the "right" colour be allowed to write off £50m in stadium plans so as to meet FFP.

I can take it from the United fans, they have some credibility from the Fergie dynasty when they won everything in sight by playing good football and signing decent players for modest/decent outlay.
