Just to help those getting any grief from Liverpool ‘fans’ I’ve found that the following really winds them up: Yes, Liverpool have had the best player ever in the history of the PL Salah, the best GK ever, the best CB, best full backs/ best front three- Mane/ Salah and Firminho- It really does go to show what a ****e manager Klopp was to only win the league once with such an amazing team, especially when a

Got to give some praise for Liverpool, they were so compact whenever we attacked, but still managed to break with pace and often outnumber us at our end. They worked really hard and all put in a defensive shift. They were the hungry, and the definition of humble.

We've got a load of players who run forwards twice as fast as they run back to defend. Until that changes again we're not be top level.

They didn't park the bus. They had shape and sat back at times as that nullifies us instantly. Having an early lead they didn't need to do anything else, but they still made it 2-0 and an offside away from a third. It is called being controlled from Liverpool and when they attacked, they attacked with purpose. We gain possession and then stop moving, allowing every man of theirs to get back, every week. So yeah, we are boring as **** to watch and have been for a while. I still love and support us but we are dull.

Think losing to football "royalty" carries more weight too though. Losing out to us is almost like getting a rub through association.

Look at the likes of Gerrard, Henderson, Fabinho etc that went chasing the Oil money in the Middle East. The Liverpool name and Liverbird logo was used constantly and when players from the West, but from smaller clubs, went over there the same focus was not placed on their ex clubs.


Certain clubs have names, that to be associated with them, almost aids in washing the image of those that play against them.

Us, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Red Mancs, Ajax, AC Milan etc. Certain clubs have earned a name that transcends however those clubs are doing at a given time.

You put the name of your own club in beside those names enough times and you are going to get some amount of people that then buy into how your club should be spoken of in the same terms.


And that is not a diss on Arsenal as they are a big successful club with a rich history of their own, but a European mega name they are not.
