    Giving something back.....

Just seen two stories pop up that I thought deserved a mention.

Firstly the Wolves manager has just donated £250,000 to the Wolves Donation Fund to help people in the city suffering from the knock on effects of covid ie lack of work and money. Nice touch. Always comes across as a decent guy.

Lou Macari, ex utd, scored jammy goal past us in 1977 Cup final. I always thought he was a knob. Maybe he still is. But he runs a homeless shelter for people but due to covid it was closed down as you couldn't socially distance. So he invested in glamping pods in the warehouse and now people have their own mini home.

Just thought they were worthy of mention.

Was just coming on to post about that amazing gesture by the Wolves manager, and now reading your post I see that Macari seems to have done something really awesome too.

Massive kudos to both for what they have done.

Though I expect that when fans are back in grounds, the Wolves fans will see no irony in them singing their "feed the Scousers" rubbish despite what is happening in their own city (as well as all across the UK and Ireland) and being highlighted by the fantastic gesture of their own manager
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I think Macari was possibly ok, we might even have tried to sign him I seem to recall I once read, but Micky Thomas who looked slightly similar was definitely a Manc cunt.

I saw the Nuno article on the Beeb site earlier. I know these guys are well paid but 0.25m is still hugely impressive.
