To be fair he's got a tough job, looking at that squad I am struggling to see a cohesive team of decent players even from a squad of 33, the GK's are ****, the CB's are massively over rated, the midfield has some talent but is fairly inexperienced at international level and there isn't an obvious cohesive unit in there to me. Heavily reliant on the front three throwing themselves to the floor cleverly drawing fouls from the opposition to win some pens and get Kane the golden boot.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
I think it's a mistake not to take ward prowse. Historically england have been relatively strong at set pieces and he's probably the best English player at them.
Also dictates the tempo of the game very well. Strong season in terms of goals and assists in an inconsistent Southampton side.
I think if he was Spanish for example, he'd be more appreciated for his style than the likes of your Declan rices.

He should be managing in the lower leagues at best. He's had one club job, a three year destroy and exit that left Middlesbrough relegated to the championship. Since then he's been hanging around the FA like Waylon Smithers. He's ended up as the national team manager by grace and favour and not by ability. Too many people seem to mistake his ability to string a few bland sentences together for competency in the job.
