If they just made the lyrics "England's coming home" they wouldn't need to change them every couple of yearsOriginally posted by Rigadon View PostTime for England to come home. Change the lyrics to 60 years of hurt.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Absolute joke.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostSounds like England going
Pickford; Walker, Maguire, Stones; James, Rice, Phillips, Shaw; Saka or Foden, Kane, Sterling

343 with four out and out defensive players across midfield and 7 defensive players in the XI
I get that it will be 5-4-1 without the ball and likely 3-2-2-3 with it and nothing at all with matching up the formation to go toe to toe with Germany but Rice & Phillips won't be able to get the ball forward enough.
Neither plays well on the half turn. I know henderson hasn't been 100% fit but him or bellingham in there and suddenly you'd have a central player able to play the ball forward centrally without always going straight back to the centre backs.
Feel a bit sorry for Kane, he's been a bit sluggish so far but I think he's also soaked up a lot of the criticism despite having **** all service through the middle from his central midfielders. Now he won't even have an advanced one behind him.
It's crazy because there might even be more space centrally than normal given that Kroos has been poor for them so far in this tournament and has never been quick.
I just do not get the Declan Rice love in from the english media? am I missing something? I don't watch West Ham a lot but all I've seen from him is plodding about playing the ball sidewards or backwards. Harry Maguire and John Stones seem to have played more forward balls to feet than him this tournament.....
My entire known family is English and because of this i'd like to see them do well one day but not without ambition and not with the current media deswegen auf geht's Deutschland!Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

I'm not sure TBH....don't think Germany are top dollar by any means and one thing England can do, and what might serve them very well today and going forward, is that they at least appear to have an idea how to defend, which is somewhat of a rarity in this tournament. Bit of luck up top....perhaps a setpiece or another Sterling dive and they could be quids in.
Massive advantage in this tournament with regard to location, with only one game potentially being played away from Wembley. If England win today, I'd almost have them as favourites."I will make the boys feel your support"
