Id love to see the camera angle so we can see what that looked like from the goalies perspective.

I didn’t want them to lose, I was indifferent to the prospect, until the diving BS, then I wanted Denmark to equalise at least.

Uefa has charged England after a laser pointer was directed at Denmark goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel during Wednesday's Euro 2020 semi-final.

Television pictures showed a green light on Schmeichel's face just before Harry Kane took an extra-time penalty.

Schmeichel saved the spot-kick, but Kane scored the rebound as England won 2-1 at Wembley to reach the final.

The English FA has also been charged after the Danish national anthem was 'disrupted' and fireworks were set off.

Like we were saying.....Bunch of cheats that they are

Seriously, but how do you charge England for probably a couple dickheads in the crowd ?

Unless of course, it was one of the players or bench.

I’ve never heard of DMs being classed the same as a defender tbh. We don’t play a back 5 it Fabs on.

Thought the game last night was good, was decent against Ukraine too. Germany game was a bit of a stodgy one.

But I’m all for people supporting their country. If you are English, you should be well chuffed this morning. Your country is in a final - that almost never happens.

But, for the most part there are a lot of Irish, Welsh and Scots who post on here also. Natural rivals of England so probably don’t expect too much support from them, because as closest rivals that isn’t going to happen.

For my part I went to school on the Channel Islands so most of my school friends are English, and, if England do win I will be genuinely delighted for. I’m in a WhatsApp group with them which is my own personal purgatory, but it was a good laugh with some of the banter last night. Does this mean I will be supporting England and enjoying the theatrics and diving? Not a chance. That’s how rivalries work.

There is an element of the England support that is totally undesirable, but by this stage they are drowned out as the rest of the nation gets involved.

Enjoy it mate, but don’t solely enjoy it because people from other countries don’t want England to win. Enjoy it because you are English and you have a chance of winning a final

Southgate is one game away from being a failure or being knighted.

It's the same with me, I feel no connection to the team either, I dislike the majority of the players throughout the season, supporting them for one month a year when they play for England seems hypercritical to me. I don't actively want them to lose, I really don't give a ****, I enjoy the hype and BS usually associated with the England setup and enjoy calling the pundits and former players etc out on it.

Fair play to Southgate he's taken a fair bit of **** but he has managed to get the team to play as an effective unit, whether you like the style of play or not, he's been more successful that any other England manager in the last 50 years

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Irrespective of what happens on Sunday he's been a massive success and has the job for as long as he wants.

In the dog days of the Bodge regime when you were being bounced out of the last Euros by Iceland you'd have been laughed out of the room had you suggested that Gareth Southgate would lead you to a World Cup semi and a Euro final in the next two tournaments.

I wish Big Fat Sam wasn't bent, he'd never have achieved what Southgate has

The home nations rivalry is so important, its a shame we dont get the home nations cup like we did in the 80's. Though now adays it is perhaps a logistical nightmare. Most of it is bourne out of the fact that there is a dominant party, and it has ever been thus.

I used to get loads of mates saying, why dont you support England, we would support Scotland if it was you.

                          A. It never is.
                          B. I dont want the backing of loads of England supporters should we ever get a moment to celebrate.
                          C. Its a rivalry, thats kind of how these things work!!!

I never want Scotland to win in the same way that I don't support other English sides in Europe. No harm meant but I just hate seeing our rivals having a good time

Anyone who struggles with that is fine

That’s 100% what a rivalry is all about.

As long as it stays good humoured then I’ve no problem with it at all, and god knows I’ve been on the wrong side of that divide often enough.

Growing up as a Scotsman (Scotsboy) in what was fundamentally English territory was pretty tough from time to time. But. It develops back bone and character and makes the wins (more in Rugby) or draws in football all the sweeter.

If England win the Euros they will have done so without being able to beat Scotland. That is something I will be very much clinging onto

                              You're both spot on.

There's been a fair degree of pish spouted about 'hatred' and the like.

You might think they're cunts but it doesn't mean you hate them.
