Is it though? A West Ham win would have been better as it would be in our hands to overturn the GD. We now have to hope Villa take something from their game which I don't think they will do. Many of the fans will now be split over whether to rest players for the final or waste energy and risk injury trying to win games which may become redundant.
Personally I'd go with 2nd string for our last 2 games. If we win both great, and if Villa somehow get something against City even better.
