Just read that today was Page's 23rd game as caretaker manager of Wales, Giggs only managed them for 24. In that time Page has managed them at the Euros and got them to qualify for the WC. Does he deserve to get kicked out when Giggs is able to return?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Giggs is finished. His history is bad enough but once the details of this case go public he'll be done.
I am assuming that from a legal point of view they can't fire Giggs unless he is convicted. Page while not officially the manager has made this side his own and done a good job. Initially I believe it was only supposed to be for a few games, but given how long it has dragged on now IMO it would be harsh on Page and presumably disrupting to the squad to swap him for Giggs ahead of the WC.
I should say I am not Welsh and have little interest in international football, so perhaps Wales fans feel differently...

I think the players and staff won't want him there once the case is over, guilty or not. He's utter scum and there will be many details of his abuse I'm sure. Add that to the regurgitated stories of shagging his brothers wife for YEARS, the affair with the Big Brother lass and making her get an abortion.

They can fire him for not rocking up to work
What did Giggs do again?? Is it something rapey?

Hopefully he gets what's coming to him.
We have all heard the stories about his brother's wife and the affair with the woman from Big Brother, but none of that stopped Wales appointing him, obviously the court case is different, but if he isn't convicted I don't see why any of the previously known stuff will have an impact.
The court case I believe is scheduled for August and his contract ends after the WC. So if he is cleared he could be in charge for the WC then they have to decide if they want to renew his contract. They may have already decided that one way or another, but if he is available will they bring him back to manage the team at the WC?

He's in court accused of coercive behaviour and assault against his ex-girlfriend and her sister.

Its 11 years since the brothers wife and Imogen Thomas stuff was in the press, the landscape has changed since then in the wake of #metoo. He's was due being cancelled before it was even a thing. If he gets convicted the press will feast on his carcass and all the old stuff will resurface imo. Rhodri will happily do more interviews to twist the knife.
