True, but they did likewise earlier in the season. Up to last week, we were right in it. I’m still convinced that the disruption due to Covid with players out and back, cost us the game vs Leicester when we never got going. Started the Spurs game without our first choice midfield with a 19 year old anchoring it.

Up to then, we were looking great despite losing points with needless draws.

I think both penalty calls were correct personally.

The Arsenal one was as much a foul on the keeper as anything else. Keeper is clearing this until the Arsenal player stands on his leg

City one was a blatant leg stretched across the runner combined with a hold of the shirt. The dive part is irrelevant to whether it was a foul or not, and it clearly was.

The ref waved it away in real-time as he saw the exaggerated dive but of course when you slow it down and ask to look at the monitor, there will be a different outcome.
The league has been absolutely pot luck for the last 3 weeks or so.

Yeah, everyone initially saw the dive in real-time, be replays showed he dived and that he was fouled as well, hence the penalty decision.
