It’s a tough one- our only slim hope of winning the league now is on goal difference, if city lose a game.. winning games 1-0 suddenly are not a good result.
That said, it would be a sickener to lose either final because we are chasing a lost cause, in the league.I don't tip

Ok at 5-0, it’s game over- 3 points and 4 goals ahead of us, now I say play our reserves and concentrate on the 2 finalsI don't tip

Just seen the result, as expected. It's done and dusted, expecting City to drop points in 2 games I suppose with goal difference... well unless we smash goals in and they don't maybe the one game is wishful thinking. At least we can rest players for the cup finals and forget about the pressure of the league.Last edited by danperkins; 08-05-22, 06:31 PM.

City have three first choice defenders out for their last games. Who knowsOriginally posted by danperkins View PostJust seen the result, as expected. removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

It would be more painful losing the league on goal difference tbh... that's like losing on pens in a final. We have three games to win, score as many as we can as a secondary objective and then hope Citeh somehow lose a game and don't create as many chances.
There has to be some crazy-**** star alignment for all that to happen.
Worst thing we can do is to feel deflated going into an FA Cup Final and play like we did first half against Villarreal... A treble would still be absolutely outstanding as season's go.

They lose the next 1-0, we win ours 1-0 and that 4 goals is then 2 with two games left to play. A 2 goal swing can be done, but if we don't beat Villa then the challenge is over, so we need to put out our best available side (fitness permitting) for that match.Originally posted by Mr Pink View PostOk at 5-0, it’s game over- 3 points and 4 goals ahead of us, now I say play our reserves and concentrate on the 2 finals

This is the problem, possession monsters. Although it's good that few lads are injured, makes it interesting.Originally posted by Fosterbloke View PostAs if that will make a difference, the other team need to get the ball first!Last edited by danperkins; 09-05-22, 04:11 PM.

WTF Woy??
Watford manager Roy Hodgson has named seven changes after his side's relegation from the Premier League was confirmed by a 1-0 defeat by Crystal Palace at the weekend.
Jeremy Ngakia, Joao Pedro, Adam Masina, Ken Sema, Dan Gosling, Christian Kabasele and Samuel Kalu all start at Vicarage Road.
Craig Cathcart drops to the bench, while Kiko Femenia, Hassane Kamara, Tom Cleverley, Ismaila Sarr, Josh King and Emmanuel Dennis are not in the squad.
Teenagers Tiago Cukur, Adrian Blake, Jack Grieves are among the substitutes.
