I do feel for Salah when I watch him play for Egypt. They are so, so bad and he must get frustrated. No chance they'd be anywhere near the semi-finals without him.

I'm sure Mane and Salah are very proud to play for their countries, but they must be delighted when they get back to Liverpool to play with some decent footballers again!

I don't think we should ever underestimate just how much it means for these guys to play for their respective countries.

I'm sure if Robbo was asked about his career highlights then captaining Scotland at the Euro's would be pretty high on the list. Ditto with Mo and winning the last AFCON

Yeah, there was loads of fanfare from City fans because Mahrez won it with them.

Not since 2010 for Egypt. They were runners up in 2017.

Good game this tonight. Cameroon started with high intensity and Egypt getting into the game a little now. Pitch not at its best though.

Egypt historically are one of the best sides in Africa. They have arguably the best club team in Africa in Zamalek. Haven’t followed it for a few good years now, but they were a few years ago.
