Good result that. Couple of tough games coming up for Utd. Drop points in those games (and we win ours) then we're in with a good chance of catching them!

Newcastle are in better shape and form than both us and Utd. Only way of catching them is if they lose against Arsenal, Brighton and Chelsea. Not likely though.

I think if they had 2 europa semi finals to navigate then itd be on.

However, their next 2 games are Villa at home and Brighton away. United could lose both of them. They then go to West Ham away.

If we were to win our next 3 games, at home to Spurs, Fulham and Brentford, then we could put them under pressure. Would be ****in hilarious

I'm not sure if it is admirable or lunacy that people are still thinking we can get in to the CL spots. Its much easier to get by day-to-day if you accept we won't and be pleasantly surprised than run through scenarios like a super computer after ever match because it will alter the approach each and every team might take in certain matches.
