He’s been subbed off in 15 of those and subbed on in 13 of them so whilst he has a lot of apps, his pitch time is less than that might suggest.

For sure, he’s still a great prospect but I think real should take a loss if they make him available. He hasn’t done anything to warrant a ride in his value and they overpaid imo.

His value should not have gone up, but at the same time if we are seeing guys like Caicedo being spoken of as a 70m or 80m player (hugely overpriced if remotely true) after 40 pl games then it is difficult to see someone like Tchouameni not going for 60m to 70m and it is not as though he has not looked the part more than a few times for Real.


What is noticeable about Real is that they lose mobility and physicality when Tchouameni does not start.

If Real wanted to more or less make back their initial fee on him, then that price range makes sense to me for Tchouameni.

Think a big quick physical guy like Tchouameni who also has high level technical skills could be outstanding in a Klopp midfield.
